Adopt-A-School was started to support the children, faculty
and staff of Monmouth Elementary School. It is the program's goal to mentor
students to make positive choices, help them with basic school work, provide teachers
with in-classroom support and prayer support, and to be an outreach into
our community. Adopt-A-School also runs donation programs throughout
the year to help kids who need shoes, clothing, and school supplies.
Mentoring - Spend time one-to-one with a child mentoring in a specific or non-specific field during class time.
Reading - Spend an hour once, twice, or three times a week reading in the classroom to a child or a group of children
Teacher Support - Can be any of the following: praying for a classroom teacher, volunteering in a classroom, providing supplies, snack, etc.
